LAWSON-BARLOW CEMETERY OR BULLHIDE CEMETERY

Cemetery is located near Bullhide Creek, about three miles west of Levi.

LAWSON, Florence Edith, dau of W. T. & Edith Lawson,  Dec. 24, 1892-June 2 1894

BARLOW, A. J., January 14, 1822 - January 22, 1893

CROOK, Mary, wife of J. E. CROOK, 1878 - 1907

GAY, Mr. T. J., November 11, 1844 - December 30, 1883

GAY, Mrs.T. J., March 1, 1851 -  March 16, 1927

LAWSON, W. T. Sr., born 1818, died 1894

LAWSON, Lucinda, wife of W. T. LAWSON Sr., born 1816 - died 1882

I am told that Mrs. A. J. Barlow was a Lawson.

The 1880 census shows the following:

Page 283A - R. L. Lawson, age 55 b. La.; wife M. E., age 25 b. La. and three sons: W. T. _ 8; R. L. - 6; J. A. - 4; and dau M. J. - 2

Page 283A Line 41 is A. J. BARLOW - age 58 b. Ky and wife A. - age 50 b. La.

A newspaper Obit June 26, 1907: Mrs. M. Crook of Hillside died last night.

Funeral tomorrow at Family Cemetery near Hillside. Leaves husband and children; Nee Miss Mary Lawson.

Marriage licence on July 17, 1897 for Mary J. Lawson m. Joseph Emory Crook.

Mr. Crook m/2 Cora Spurum and they are both buried in Lorena Cemetery.
