County
Poor Cemetery (East Waco)
Information
abstracted and transcribed from Fall and Puckett Funeral Home Records,
Vol II
(Cemetery Listings), which was a project of the late John Ursy in
conjunction
with the Central Texas Genealogical Society, Inc. Submitter does not
know the
location of this cemetery. It
is on
land in East Waco, but not believed to be contained in any other
cemetery. For
more detailed information it is suggested that you contact the Central
Texas
Genealogical Society, Inc as they have all of the resources of McLennan
County
at their disposal.
Typically
these individuals were unable to provide for funeral, wards of the
county or
state, or their relatives could not be located. Some of these
individuals may
have been buried on private farms, as well, as the records are not
absolutely
clear. This is a partial listing only.
If
there are two dates, the birth date is first, followed by the death
date. If there is
only one date, it is the death
date.
