Tue., Sept. 15 (2-3): Annie Agnes Nevins died at 2026 Gorman yesterday, of typhoid. Funeral today, Church of the Assumption. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Nevins.

Tue., Sept. 15 (2-3): Lillia Frazier, age 13 months, child of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Frazier, died today at 1014 Ross. Funeral tomorrow from the residence; and burial at Greenwood cemetery.

Thu., Sept. 17 (3-3): Mrs. E. P. Orand, 72, died today at the residence of her son, D. H. Orand, 13th & Washington. Funeral at the First Baptist church today, by Dr. A. J. Barton. Burial at Oakwood. Survived by two children: Mr. J. C. Clark and Otis W. David. Was also mother of the late Mrs. D. H. Orand. Widow of late J. W. Orand Sr. Resided Waco since 1889; from Alabama.

Thu., Sept. 17 (10-4): Mrs. Thomas Jackson funeral was today. Remains shipped here from San Angelo on the M.K. & T. Funeral from the Episcopal church by Rev. N. A. Temple.

Sun., Sept. 20 (7-3): A. S. Rose drowned at Santa Monica, Calif., recently. Remains shipped to Waco yesterday. Brother of J. H. Rose of Oklahoma. Lived with another cousin, J. K. Rose, some years ago. Aged about 40. Fall & Puckett in charge. Funeral today; burial at Oakwood cemetery.

Mon., Sept. 21 (2-4): Wilfred Kelly, 12, stepson of John Glaze, died Saturday at White Rock. Funeral yesterday at White Rock cemetery.

Mon., Sept. 21 (2-4): Mrs. J. J. Wilson, 44, died Saturday night on Axtell road. Funeral today; burial at Greenwood cemetery, Rev. Mr. Turner of East Waco officiating.

Sat., Sept. 26 (2-6): Hanna, age 8, daughter of Pink Linville, negro, died on the Seth Mills place at Speegleville.

Sat., Sept. 26 (2-4): Mildred M., age 13 months, child of Mr. and Mrs. Homer H. Martin, died at their home, 1214 Baylor, yesterday, of diptheria. Burial at Oakwood cemetery today.

Sat., Sept. 26 (2-5): Wilson Davis, age 2, died at the home of his parents yes­terday. Burial at Speegleville.

Tue., Sept. 29 (10-2): Opal Westbrook, age 2, died at the home of her parents in the Concord neighborhood today. Funeral at Concord cemetery today.

Thu., Oct. 1 (2-3): John E. Boynton burned to death last night in Midland. He formerly lived in Waco. Left here about 25 years ago. Had a little store.

Vincent, Mrs. T. H. Morrow, and J. C. Farquhar, all of Waco. Member of Fifth Street Methodist Church. Employed by Sanger Bros. several years. In Waco 25 years.

Wed., Oct. 7 (2-4): Mrs. W. P. Anderson, 76, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Dr. H. M. Lanham, today. Funeral from the residence at 1503 Washington, Thursday; burial at Oakwood cemetery, Resident of Waco a long time.

Thu., Oct. 8 (2-4): Mrs. Rufe Kilgo had news of the death of her uncle, Rev. A. P. Smith of Fort Worth.

Thu., Oct. 8 (5-3): Mrs. W. A. Thomas, 40, died at the family residence, 700 Earl, today. Remains shipped to Mexia today.

Thomas of Columbus Street Baptist Church. Lived in Waco 40 years. Mrs. Winifred Polk Anderson was born Jan. 12, 1832, Howard Co., Missouri, daughter of Andrew and Martha Polk. To Texas as a child. Married James M. Anderson at Rusk in 1851. To Waco in 1865. Surviving children: Chas. E., W.P., J. P., Mrs. R. J. Kimbrough, and Mrs. H. M. Lanham of Waco.

Fri., Oct. 9 (2-2): Mrs. P. H. Burkhalter died today at Temple. Lived in Mt. Calm. Surviving children: P. E., F. W., Mrs. W. T. Moore of Waco, H. P., Mrs. T. S. Turner, Mrs. John Bain, Jerry, Vera, and Ina.

Mon., Oct. 12 (2-1): Geo. T. Barnett, 44, yardmaster of the Cotton Belt, died at his residence, 425 South 4th, yesterday. Remains to be shipped to Decatur, Illinois. Survived by wife and three children: Miss Etta, Edward, and Charles. Came to Waco about ten years ago.

Mon., Oct 12 (-4): Remains of Dr. Henry E. Yarbrough were brought to Waco yes­terday from Markham. Funeral today from the residence of brother, A. A. Yar­brough, 1616 Burnet. The Dr. was killed in Markham Friday night. G. S. Byers was arrested. Burial at Greenwood cemetery.

Tue., Oct. 13 (10-3): Mrs. C. B. Banknight died yesterday at the residence of her brother, J. B. Trice, 1108 North 16th. Ship remains to Belton for burial. Well known here.

Sat., Oct. 17 (2-3): Mrs. H. E. Lankford, 89, died today at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Lee at 3rd & Webster. Funeral at the residence tomorrow, by Rev. C. T. Caldwell. She was also the mother of Mrs. T. M. Dilworth of Waco, Mrs. Eugenia Allen of Coal Gate, Okla., Dwight and Charles A. of Atoka, W. H. of Sherman, and Dr. J. S. of San Antonio. To Texas. in 1875. Born in Mississippi, Burial at Oakwood cemetery.

Sat., Oct. 17 (2-5): Infant child of Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Johnson of Speegleville, age 1 year, died today. Funeral from the residence tomorrow.

Sat., Oct. 17 (2-5): Mrs. Eula Z. Foard, 45, widow of the late Judge Pinckney Foard, died in Houston today. Ship remains to Waco for burial tomorrow.

Sun., Oct. 18 (15): Remains of Mrs. Eula C. Foard, age 45, arrived at the res­idence of County Tax Collector John C. Davis. Died in Houston. Daughter of John McLennan, and niece of Duncan McLennan; granddaughter of Neil McLennan. Married Judge Pinckney Foard, who died in Waco five years ago. Two sons, Pinck­ney and Spencer. Burial at Oakwood.

Mon., Oct. 19 (3-2): Lee A. Trice, 48, in charge of the County jail, died at his residence at 17th Bosque today. Funeral today; burial at Oakwood cemetery. Survived by eight children, 7 girls and 1 boy. Five died about five years ago.

Mon., Oct. 19 (3-5): M. E. Morris, 59, died yesterday at his residence, 912 South 10th. Funeral today from the residence, by Rev. J. C. Taylor, Clay St. Baptist Church; burial at Oakwood cemetery. Ran a gin at 2nd & Franklin. Wife and three children.

Tue., Oct. 20 (2-3): Funeral for Lee A. Trice from the residence yesterday. Burial at Oakwood cemetery.

Wed., Oct. 21 (10-4): Dr. R. F. Park died today. Son of Dr. R. W. Park and brother of Judge M. C. H. Park. Born at Livingston, Alabama, 43 years ago. Was reared in Waco; educated at Baylor University. Funeral tomorrow from the resi­dence at 1110 South 5th; burial at Oakwood cemetery.

Thu., Oct. 22 (4-5): W. T. B. Clendenig died today at Bruceville. "Uncle Buck" was a Confederate soldier.

Thu., Oct. 22 (8-4): Ruth Hopson died yesterday at Hubbard City. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hopson. Formerly of Waco. Age 13.

Tue., Nov. 3 (2-5): Funeral of John Munroe is today from the residence of s niece, Mrs. Julia Henry, 610 North 4th, by Rev. C. R. Wright. Burial at First Street cemetery.

Tue., Nov. 3 (10-3): John M. De Lashmutt died last Friday in Maryland. Formerly of Waco, before the war. A Confederate soldier.

Sat., Nov. 7 (3-3): Yesterday the remains of Mrs. Murphy arrived from Lorena to the Church of the Assumption, with Rev. P. J. Clancy officiating. Burial at Holy Cross cemetery.

Sun., Nov. 8 (5-3): Dr. W. B. Daniel died in New York yesterday. Formerly a Prof. of Latin at Baylor University. Remains sent to Garysburg, N.C.

Wed., Nov. 11 (10-6): James Kizer, 52, brother of Harvey Kizer, died today at his rooming house. Born in California. Came to Texas four years ago.

Thu., Nov. 12 (8-4): Floyd Chambers died today at Richey. Wife and five chil­dren. Brother Jack Chambers of Hewitt and father in Colorado. Burial at White Hall west of Waco.

Fri., Nov. 13 (3-6): Geo. B. Campbell, 80, died at Austin yesterday. Remains sent to Waco for burial by Fall & Puckett. Pat Cleburne Camp pallbearers. He lived in Waco 20 years. Daughter in Austin, Mrs. Frank Finks. Son and daugh­ter, Ben of San Antonio, and Mrs. Sam Renick of Waco, and Mrs. Thomas Waites of Houston, and Mrs. Dr. Lipscomb of Carmona. Was a cotton buyer.

Mon., Nov. 16 (2-3): Will Cornforth, formerly of this county, died in New Mexico Saturday. Remains shipped here tomorrow on M.K. & T. Funeral from resi­dence of brother, Fred R. Cornforth, 928 South 4th. Burial at Oakwood.

Wed., Nov. 18 (3-5): Mrs. Elizabeth L. McMahan, 50, came to Waco for medical treatment, and died yesterday. Remains shipped to Howe, Texas, for burial.

Wed., Nov. 18 (3-5): Frank P. Grier, 27, brother of Rev. J. J. Grier, died at the residence of the latter today. Funeral from the Second Presbyterian church, 13th & Morrow, by Rev. C. T. Caldwell. Burial at Oakwood cemetery. Came to Waco two years ago for his health., from Birmingham.

Wed., Nov. 18 (3-5): Miss Annie Ceccio, 17, daughter of John Cuccio, died at their home, 132 South 4th, today. Funeral probably tomorrow, Church of the As­sumption.

Thu., Nov. 19 (2-5): Funeral of Frank P. Grier today, by Rev. C. T. Caldwell. Burial at Oakwood cemetery.

Thu., Nov. 19 (5-5): Mrs. Elizabeth Waldrop died night before last at her resi­dence, 1809 South 9th. Leaves a large family of children. A widow. Remains sent yesterday to Howe in Grayson county. Burial there.

Fri., Nov. 20 (2-4): Prof. W. D. McGhee, 59, principal of the South 8th Street School, died today in Mineral Wells where he went for Bright's disease treat­ment. Funeral pending. Survived by widow, brother, ex-Mayor Henry McGhee of Brownwood; a nephew, Henry McGhee of Waco; and a niece, Mrs. Hays Watson of Waco. Born in Alabama, 1849; to Texas in 1872. Father was county judge at Moulton.

Sat., Nov. 21 (3-3): Mrs. Atta Byous, 30, died yesterday at 424 South 13th. Funeral today; burial at Oakwood cemetery, Rev. Mr. Taylor of Clay Street Bap­tist church officiating.

Sat., Nov. 21 (8-6): Remains of Prof. McGhee are to arrive this evening on the Katy, to the late residence at 702 North 13th. Funeral tomorrow.

Mon., Nov. 23 (2-5): Mrs. Emeline Hasha, 69, died yesterday at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Blake, 403 Washington. Funeral tomorrow from the resi­dence, by Rev. U. S. Thomas, of the Columbus Street Baptist Church. Burial at Greenwood cemetery. Mother of 15 children, 14 living. Born in Louisiana. In Texas 24 years.

Mon., Nov. 23 (2-5): Funeral for Mrs. Geo. O. Knapp tomorrow from the resi­dence, 821 South 11th. Burial at Oakwood cemetery. Leaves husband and three daughters. One, Miss Knapp, lives here. Came to Waco with husband 16 years ago.

Mon., Nov. 23 (4-5): Funeral yesterday for Prof. W. D. McGhee at late residence at 702 North 13th by Rev. E. Hightower and Rev. E. E. Ingram. Burial at Oakwood.

Fri., Nov. 27 (7-6): Matthew D. Call, 22, died at the residence of his father, G. W. Call, four miles east of Waco. Funeral services there today; burial at Concord cemetery. W. of W. in charge.

Sun., Nov. 29 (2-2): Miss Emma Kierchner, 80, a resident of The Home, 1711 S. 10th, died yesterday. Funeral at Church of the Assumption today. Burial at Holy Cross cemetery.

Mon., Nov. 30: Joe J. Holt of West died today, accidentally shot. About 45 years old. Wife nee Miss Glasgow. Three children.

Thu., Dec. 3 (4-4): Funeral of Mr. Bryce today, by Rev. A. D. Porter. Burial at Oakwood cemetery. Former chaplain of Pat Cleburne Camp. Four months ago yesterday was his 50th wedding anniversary. Leaves widow and two children: James Bryce and Mrs. Mary Britton.

Fri., Dec. 4 (10-4) Edwin Moultrie Lanham, 31, died yesterday at the residence of his brother, Dr. H. M. Lanham. Son of ex-Governor W. T. Lanham. Came to Waco last Sunday, for his health. Ship remains to Weatherford, accompanied by widow and two children. Funeral tomorrow. Wife nee Miss Besse Stephens of Ft. Worth, daughter of Judge I. W. Stephens.  Other brothers: Fritz G., Frank V., and sister, Mrs. E. C. Connor of Dallas.

Sat., Dec. 5 (3-4): Mrs. W. J. Hill, 37, died at the family residence, 1525 Washington, yesterday. Survived by husband and a son and a daughter: Hardy and Lucille. Ship remains to Bastrop today for funeral from the residence of her mother, Mrs. A. R. Green, tomorrow.

Mon., Dec. 7 (2-3): Joe Lieck, 34, died yesterday at his home on Bosqueville road. Remains shipped to Flatonia for burial. Well known in Waco. Pneumonia.

Mon., Dec. 7 (8-3): Card of Thanks: in death of Joe Lieck, brother of R. F. Meyer.

Wed., Dec. 9 (5-6): James Izenhower, age 3 months, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Izenhower, died yesterday at the residence, 1920 South 7th. Remains shipped to Mullin, Texas, for burial.

Wed., Dec. 9 (8-2): Mrs. Ellen N. Canuteson, 77, died today. Funeral tomorrow, by Rev. T. E. Thorsen, Lutheran Church of Clifton. Wife of Capt. Ole Canuteson. They came to Texas more than 50 years ago. Capt. Ole Canuteson was with Major George B. Erath at times. Funeral from the residence, 1792 North 5th; burial at Oakwood cemetery. Children present: Mrs. Geo. T. Saunders of Paris, Texas, Mrs. C. T. Wilcox, and Mrs. L. C. Smith of Pine Bluff, Mrs. D. S. Durie of Waco; O. J. of Waco.

Thu., Dec. 10 (2-4): Funeral of Mrs. Ellen N. Canuteson today from the resi­dence, 1702 North 5th, by Rev. T. E. Thorsen.

Tue., Dec. 22 (3-7): Ralph Connally, about 32, died today of pneumonia. Son of Dr. Connally. Ship remains to Tyler. Came to Waco 12 years ago from Smith Co.

Tue., Dec. 22 (3-7): Hosea Rogers, 17, died yesterday of slow fever. He lived in Alabama, but funeral is at Durant, Okla. Remains were shipped there.

Wed., Dec. 23 (2-5): Mrs. Rosa Smith died today at 609 McKeen, East Waco.

Wed., Dec. 23 (3-6): F. J. Jewell, 50, employed by Tom Padgitt, died yesterday.

Sat., Dec. 26 (3-6): Mrs. A. Y. Houston, 64, died at the home of son Robert at Jacksonville, Texas, yesterday. Member of Pat Cleburne Camp. Burial today from residence of brother on Walnut, at First Street cemetery.

Sat., Dec. 26 (8-4): Mrs. J. D. Veatch, 40, died at her home in China Spring yesterday. Funeral from family residence today; burial at China Spring.

Sat., Dec. 26 (3): Katherine Yard, 10, daughter of Henry Hickerson, 809 North 12th, died Dec. 25th of burns in a grass fire. Burial at Oakwood today.
