yesterday in the case of Geo. W. Dowdy vs Oakwood Cemetery Association, that
the ordinance passed Mar. 10, 1898, is to take effect April 14. The association
will not be able to take charge legally.

Cavalry, born in North Carolina, and a cousin of Judge J. B. Buxton of Waco,
was killed in the Battle of Santiago on July 1.

night. She had been stabbed by another negro woman about a month ago.

hit on the head about a month ago with a bottle.

died yesterday. She leaves a husband and four small children. Funeral today

Wed., July 13 (8-3): Carrie Lulu Reaves, daughter of Rev.
and Mrs. J. B. Reaves of White Hall, died Monday. Burial at White Hall

daughters of David Hudson, are missing. They left home Sunday for Sunday

in the rear of the Mannerchor social rooms, aged about 42. He probably fell
