Computer Interest Group
(CIG)
The Computer Interest Group (CIG) is an informal group
of people with an interest in genealogy and computers.
Our goal is to provide an open forum to discuss, assist and educate
persons using computers to further their genealogical research.
CIG meetings are
perfect for those wanting to ask
questions or discuss
computer and genealogy related issues.
Leaders are
knowledgeable ~ and everyone is encouraged to provide input.
. Meetings
are held in a “round-table” fashion where everyone
has a chance to ask questions and offer assistance.
While
many ofour
attendees
are
members of the Central T exas Genealogical Society,
there is no membership requirement to attend our meetings. We welcome everyone that
shares an interest in genealogy and computers. There
is no charge or fee associated with our group.
