She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers,
David Paul Adlof and James Adlof; and one sister Margaret Buchanan.
Left to mourn her passing and cherish her memories, Velma is survived
by her brother, Bobby C. Adlof and wife Marijohn of McKinney, Texas; sister-in-law,
Mary Adlof of Sherman; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews
and her church family and friends.
A Rosary was recited at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel, Sherman, by
Deacon John LeBlanc, St Mary's Catholic Parish, Sherman.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church,
with Pastor Reverend Jeremy Myers presiding, assisted by Reverend Antonio
Aureus, and Deacon LeBlanc.
Internment followed at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Sherman.
Pallbearers were her nephews, Jim Adlof, Kevin Adlof, Kent Adlof,
Paul Adlof, Phillip Adlof, and Bryan Adlof.
Arrangements were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman.
