"The attached picture of a house and a large group of people was in a collection of pictures from my grandmother, Bettie McDuffie.  She was married to Albert Taylor Clark in Sherman on May 4, 1880.  The picture shows the photographer as "Snell" in Sherman.  The picture was likely taken around the year 1880 in or near Sherman.  I am hoping that someone might remember the house.  It appears to be a sturdy structure and it might possibly still stand and be designated as an historical site."
