River Side School
1916-17
"Here is the Riverside School picture.  I found Riverside school mentioned in a book I bought today at the Frontier Village, the Grayson Co history book, Volume 2, Section 1, page 101 - in the section entitled -
Reasor School # 94 and Riverside.  It says it was one of the first free schools, then they built Reasor # 2 for families on the other side of the district which was Riverside School at the end of where the Dam Spillway is.  Momma went to that school and said that the school was in between Overton (N of Pottsboro) and Denison on the river.
The picture has Riverside School scratched in the negative with the year 1916-1917
The girl on the middle row, third from the left is my aunt Lottie (Charlotte) Frances Cook (Mosier)  and and the fifth one on that row from the left is her sister, my Mother, Florence Lucille Cook (Clountz). "
