Miss Irene Kibby of Gainesville in city on visit to sister Mrs. Ed G. Jones.
Mrs. C.D. Riley returned from weeks visit to McKinney.
Edward White of late of Indian Territoru passed through enroute today for Sulphur Springs where he will accept a position on one of the papers.
Jim May came down from Gordonville today.
Judge T.J. Brown will leave for Austin in the morning.
C. Binkley has returned to Honey Grove after visit to his parents.
Miss Mattie Lewis returned today from visit west.
Mr. E.L. Coughlin resigned as manage of Sherman Packing Co. meat market and will move with family to St. Louis on Wed. in which city he will reside.
Miss Mattie Penn visiting Mr & Mrs. D.K. Penn of Greenville.
Mrs. Tom Randolph is quite ill.
Prof. Josh Messenger of Cashion was in city today.
Ice was plentiful today.
The paving of Houston St. will begin in less that 60 days.
City Council meets this evening.
The usual 1st Monday crowd is on the Square – Stock Fair in progress all day.

 H.W. Burns was painfully hurt while moving a house, lacerated leg and fractured ankle.
Prof J.B. Lamkin spending New Year with his family at Paris.

 College Park History Club – Mr. & Mrs. George Case entertained with a Tacky Part.  Tacky prizes to Judge J.A.L. Wolfe and Mrs. Hugh Perry.  Game prize to Judge J.A. Wood.
 Mrs. John H. Wharton of College Park entertained with a domino party.
 City Sexton Therneau, wife and daughters entertained at home on W. Houston. Guests were Mayor A.A. Fielder, Aldermen Moyer, Hopson, Neely, Kimble and McAfee.
 Mrs. Tom Hudgins, who has been visiting son Claude Hudgins at Chickasha, I.T., returned home today.
 Robert Vaden, age 28, married, former resident died at home in Bonham of hurt sustained at his shop.  Leaves wife, child and brother-in-law George Blair of Sherman.
 Little Carl, age 3, son of Mr. & Mrs. James Davenport, died after 3 week illness.
 Robert Irby went east on business.
 Mr. Will T.A. Keys and family of Manchester, IA will make this city their home.  Mr. Keys will be bookkeeper for Mr. Allan Chambers.
Mrs. Lon Anderson, E. College, quite ill of lagrippe.
 James Shepton returned from Whitesboro where he completed contract.
 Divorce – Leona Greenwood vs. Arthur S. Greenwood.
