Mr. E.L. Coughlin resigned as manage of Sherman Packing
Co. meat market and will move with family to St. Louis on Wed. in which
city he will reside.

Fair in progress all day.

Case entertained with a Tacky Part. Tacky prizes to Judge J.A.L.
Wolfe and Mrs. Hugh Perry. Game prize to Judge J.A. Wood.
Mrs. John H. Wharton of College Park entertained
with a domino party.
City Sexton Therneau, wife and daughters entertained
at home on W. Houston. Guests were Mayor A.A. Fielder, Aldermen Moyer,
Hopson, Neely, Kimble and McAfee.
Mrs. Tom Hudgins, who has been visiting son
Claude Hudgins at Chickasha, I.T., returned home today.
Robert Vaden, age 28, married, former resident
died at home in Bonham of hurt sustained at his shop. Leaves wife,
child and brother-in-law George Blair of Sherman.
Little Carl, age 3, son of Mr. & Mrs. James
Davenport, died after 3 week illness.
Robert Irby went east on business.
Mr. Will T.A. Keys and family of Manchester,
IA will make this city their home. Mr. Keys will be bookkeeper for
Mr. Allan Chambers.
Mrs. Lon Anderson, E. College, quite ill of lagrippe.
James Shepton returned from Whitesboro where
he completed contract.
