Jesse Gent Nash (1822-1897) & wife, Mary Louisa (Marsh) Nash (1826-1896) who founded the
Mary Nash College of Sherman were the parents of Alexander Quincy Nash. Alexander and his wife
Martha Smith were the parents of John Forbes Nash, Sr. born about 1892 in Sherman, Grayson County,
TX. John Forbes Nash, a graduate of Texas A&M College, moved away to Bluefield, Mercer Co., West
Virginia. He married Margaret Virginia Martin and they are the parents of
 JOHN FORBES NASH, JR.  the winner of the Nobel Prize Economics and the subject of the
book and now a movie, A BEAUTIFUL MIND.
