near Denison, Texas





The location of this is unknown at this time. please email me if you know where this cemetery is or want to add names of those known buried there.
The majority of the graves here are unmarked and there are no records for most of its history. The cemetery is somewhere along Iron Ore Creek. Iron Ore Creek runs from the West of Denison going South of Denions and eventually into the Choctaw Creek

Akers, Infant Dau.         25 Mar 1931 - 1 Apr 1931. She was the dau. of  Frank Akers & Sophia Brown . Died of unknown causes.

Akers, Rose Laverne      2 Feb 1933 - 26 Oct 1933, She was the dau. of Frank Akers and Sarah Boddie Akers.  She died of infection of sores.

Brown, Elijah                Jun 1868 - 12 Mar 1933. Husb. of Bettie Brown.  He was born in Grayson Co., Tx. son of Warren Brown. He died of heart trouble.

Brown, Henry               Abt 1863-11 Apr 1924, he was born in Grayson Co.,Tx., Son of Worn Brown, born in Mo. and Louisa Hall, born in Ky. He lived and died in rural Pottsboro, Liza Brown was the informant on his death cert. He died of apoplexy and arteriosclerosis.

Brown, Julia                  12 Aug 1843 - 4 Sep 1916. She was born in Jackson Co. , Mo. Dau. of Ruben Childs. She died of heart failure.

Brown, Mary C.             5 Jul 1862 - 22 Mar 1940. She was widowed and died of acute rheumatic fever and exposure. She had lived in the Denison area for 55 yrs. She was born in Ky. , Dau. of Richard Pierce b. Mo. and Mary Smith b. Mo., Emma Braxton of Denison was the informant. 

Claude, Walter              Died 27 Jul 1922 26 yrs old. He had lived and died in the County Farm Home. He died of dropsy.

Duty, Trim                    1 Jan 1894 - 10 Aug 1933, Husb. of Love Duty. He was born in Tx and died of aortic regurgitation, causing heart failure. He was the son of Same Duty and Leathia Hunter, both born in Tx.

Edmunson, Velvie      17 May 1910 - 20 Jun 1910. She was born in Grayson Co., Tx. Dau. of John Edmunson, b. in Grimes Co., Tx. and Eula Holley, b. in Grayson Co., Tx.  She died 6 mi. N. of Sherman. Cause of death "Milk did not agree with infant". 

Fraisher, Ann                Died 23 Sep 1916, age 64, she was a widow at the time of her death, and died of brights disease, heart dilation and dropsy. She was born in Clay Co., Mo. 

Harrison, Harlee         28 Jul 1899 - 19 Jan 1925, he was born in Grayson Co., Tx and died of tuberculosis. He was single. Son of J.H. (b. Mo. ) and Addie Kirkpatrick Harrison. Addie was born in Grayson Co., Tx.

Harrison, Nettie            9 Jun 1898 - 7 Jun 1919, She 'drowned in tank near her home, on their farm' and 'subject to fits'.  She was born in Grayson Co., Tx. , Dau. of Jasper Harrison b.in Tx. and Tennessee Kirkpatrick, b. in Grayson Co., Tx.

Holt, Stanley                Died 28 Jun 1927 age 49. Died of Acute pericarditis. He was born in San Antonio, Tx. , Son of John H. Holt, b. in Nashville, Tn. and Alice Parish, b. in Mission Valley ??. Azalee Holt was the informant.

Jones, Infant son of Alford Jones   B and D 5 Aug 1910. Alford Jones was born in Collin Co., Tx. and wife, Sadie Fisher, was born in Grayson Co.,Tx. Same as her infant.

Mask, Ozell Jennever    15 Nov 1909 -27 Aug 1910, died of spasms. She was born in Grayson Co., Tx. Dau. of Charlie Mask, born in Grayson Co., Tx. and Billie Hill b. in Ark. , Charlie Mask was the informant.

McKinney, Lory (Dory?)         Died 16 Oct 1918 age 19 yrs. She died of influenza & pneumonia in the Great Epidemic of 1918, Swine Flu. She was born in Grayson Co.,Tx. and was the dau. of John Brown.

Milligan, Mrs. Mahailey          Died 4 Dec 1912, age abt 41, died of apoplexy. She was born in Texas, dau. of Kerry Kirkpatrick, b. in Ky. and Maria ? , b. in Ky.She was married.

Phillips, Homer             Died 18 Jun 1901 Age 8 yrs

Pierce, Laura                  Died 12 Jul 1915  , age not noted, she was born in Ala and died of hypertrophy of heart and brights disease. She was the dau. of Chas. McDonnal, b. in Ala. and ? Collins, b. in Ala.

Price, Judie                Died 14 Feb 1917, age 62, she had lived in her home for 30 yrs. She was the dau. of Richard Pierce and Mary Pierce, both born in Ky. She was  born in Ky and married at the time of her death. No cause of death noted.

Price, William                 Died 19 May 1902 Age 20 yrs

Venlia, Willie                  Died 31 May 1901, Age 1 month, 14 Days
