Edward 'Eddie' Jay Blanton
DENISON -- Edward "Eddie" Jay Blanton, age 39, of Denison died Wednesday,
Dec. 3, 2003, at his home. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday,
Dec. 6, at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Chaplain Marti Mattner officiating.
Mr. Jay was born on Nov. 10, 1964, in Denison, Texas, son of Robert E.
and Martha Fralicks Blanton.
"Eddie" was a plumber for Don Baker and Browns Plumbing. He was a
Baptist.
Surviving are his mother, Martha Wright of Denison, Texas; sister, Retha
Blanton of Colbert, Okla.; brothers, Kendall Blanton and his wife, Linda of
Denison and Eric Wright and his wife, Anita of Whitesboro, Texas; nephews,
Chad Richardson, Allen Blanton and Cory Ivey; and nieces, Nikka Richardson
and Lindsey Blanton.
Bratcher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at their home. (researcher's note: Eddie
was the grandson of William Franklin Blanton and Willie A'della Coble. He
was the g-grandson of John E.A. Blanton and Margaret Elizabeth Keller. His
great-grandparents were Benjamin F. Blanton and Sarah L. Boone and George W.
Keller and Julia Ann Easton Sturdivant.)
