                Son of David & Mary Ann (Trent) Greene.  Ervin was a schoolteacher for Era Schools. 
  He had one child, Virginia Evelyn Greene Nally, born September 13, 1931 in Gainesville, Texas. 
She died April 15, 2003 in Los Lunas, New Mexico. 
Ervine served as a Private First Class, 57 Field Artillery, 19 Division.
