Fred Balliet
DENISON - Fred Balliet, 77, operator of a grocery store at 1000 West Chestnut many years, died at his home at 5:15 a.m. Wednesday. He was born Nov 24, 1859, and came to Denison when a young man.  Surviving are his widow; three sons, J.H. Balliet and M.F. Balliet of Denison, and F.J. Balliet of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Misses Anna and Esther Balliet of Denison; and a brother, A.Balliett of Aberdeen, S.D.
   Funeral services will be held at the Short-Murray chapel at 10 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. D.E. Hawk, pastor of the Waples Memorial Methodist church, officiating.  Interment will be in Fairview cemetery.
