JESSIE B. BAZE - Funeral services for
Jessie B. Baze, 69, of Sherman, Route 3, who died at 10 p.m. Wednesday
in a Sherman hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Waldo Funeral
Chapel. The Rev. Clyde Beck, pastor of the Kerr Baptist Chapel and
the Rev. George Clinton, pastor of the Fellowship Baptist Mission, will
conduct the services. Burial will be in Keirsey Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Fred Lowry, Floyd Baze, Billy Joe Baze, Jerry Baze,
Ronald Baze and R.J. Cherry, all nephews of Mr. Baze. Mr. Baze was
born August 27, 1891, in Montague County, Texas, the son of the late Mr.
and Mrs. J.L. (Joseph) Baze. He married the former Miss Maudie Rolen,
September 20, 1930. A farmer until his retirement in 1957, Mr. Baze
has lived in Grayson County for 45 years. At the time of his death
he was living on the Kidd Ranch north of Sherman. He was a member
of the Kerr Baptist Church. The family will be at the funeral home
from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Surviving are his widow; two brothers,
J.P. (John) Baze and W.H. (Walter) Baze, both of Sherman and a number of
